The 5A Hybrid is made from premium Ukrainian hornbeam and blends the familiar balance of classic 5A with a slightly beefier 14.6 mm diameter, closer to 5B. This gives you more weight and punch while keeping a comfortable feel in the hands.
The reworked Barrel (Hybrid) tip offers sharper stick definition on cymbals while maintaining a warm, full-bodied tone on drums. That makes StarSticks 5A Hybrid Hornbeam the golden middle ground between the versatility of 5A and the power of 5B.
